We’re not a foundation repair company, and we won’t pretend to be one. If your slab issue turns out to be a structural foundation problem, we’ll tell you that plainly instead of quoting work outside our lane.

Why we focus on concrete lifting

Melissa grew fast. The city went from under 5,000 people in 2010 to nearly 14,000 by 2020, and most of that growth means new homes poured on fill dirt or compacted clay. That soil hasn’t finished settling in a lot of neighborhoods, and Collin County’s clay shrinks and swells with moisture on top of it. Slabs move. Driveways crack. Patios sink at a corner.

That’s specifically what concrete lifting fixes: raising or leveling the slab itself, not rebuilding a home’s structural foundation. The two trades get blurred a lot in marketing, and it’s worth being clear about it. Licensing requirements differ depending on the scope of work involved, foundation piering and slab releveling aren’t governed the same way, so ask any contractor directly what applies to the specific job you need done.
